PARIS – TEHRAN
This was more than a journey from Tehran to Paris. It was a passage across cities and borders, an inner journey towards identity and freedom, and at the same time, a journey through the world of art, from the forbidden sounds of Tehran to the creation of a deeply personal language through music and performance. Along the way, every displacement became a transformation, and every experience shaped the voice now known as Meshcut.
At its heart, Meshcut makes music because it gives them freedom: the freedom to transform pain into beauty, confusion into meaning, and lived experience into something that belongs not only to them, but also to anyone who needs to feel less alone.
